Hm, why is one post a problem when it's apparently from someone without a Camaro who finally wants to buy one? Sure, he could be a scammer, but how else would you approach the forums if you were the one trying to buy?

If anything its for sellers to be cautions - too many scammer angles out there.

Often by time you realize, you're out of a car and money never materialized. Wire transfer and make sure your bank accepts it before releasing the car.

It's hard even when buying in person since how do you know if title is real especially when buyer and seller are in different states?

When I sold my Camaro here, I used keysavvy.com. I sent keysavvy my title (which they verify), buyer sent funds to keysavvy. As soon as the transport company picked up the car and gave me a bill of lading, I uploaded to keysavvy and was paid within minutes. I thought is was a very smooth process and protected both seller and buyer.

I drove from Houston to Florida, met at the sellers bank with who they financed with. Did all paperwork and bank assisted with the payoff. Only thing was seller had to mail me the title after they mailed it to him. At that point we’d already done the paperwork involving bill of sale and whatnot and the car was in my garage.
