I'd have more respect for them just acknowledging that then them trying to cite "iT's aN aCCeSsOrY paRT" as their justification for refusing to source them. They'll never convince me that a "Parts and Accessories Program Manager" doesn't know the difference.
Ah yes, sorry about the typo, indeed it's ACS Composites.

A very unfortunate situation, and you are 100% correct in that aftermarket parts almost never measure up; front splitters are no different, I experimented with a few before settling on part number 84116168. Now it looks like I need to be mega careful, or be willing to either compromise or buy a carbon fiber replacement for $$$...

The Supra is actually a really good car. The point of the Z wasn’t to be a performer. It’s a car targeted at Gen X and Boomers because it looks like a past car that they may have owned or wanted to own when they were younger. It has a comfy wide versus a performance oriented ride as their target audience was older folks. I do think it’s about 5k overpriced BUT every vehicle in today’s market is over priced.

Op, some of these aftermarket companies make quality pieces. Do your research and pick the best one. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by both the quality and the sheen matching what you had before. In regards to the sheen, the black on the 1LE mirrors, valance, spoiler and splitter is just standard GM black with a specific clear coat applied (I think it’s a satin clear) to give it its sheen. If you buy one and the sheen is wrong the dealer can probably at least paint it the right color for you

The BMW supra is pretty ok but the Toyota loyalty is 100 percent gone. Toyota couldnt bring themselves to build their own flagship car. If i go into a dealership to buy a Toyota because I'm loyal to the brand, i don't want to drive off in a BMW.

Honestly i can't think of a new car i would want to own.
To be fair, GM also rebadged a ZL1 and called it a CT5 V Blackwing and is trying to sell it for $100K+

I have a brand new one sitting in my basement for this very reason. Someday my original will be too messed up for me to live with.

Well, I guess I’m going to find one to put in the garage. What a stupid problem.

That's a crazy low price, honestly that looks pretty damn ok for how little you have to spend on it. Especially if it got satin wrapped!

So there really isn’t an aftermarket piece that fits the oem holes and bolts right up? Wow.

It looks the part, but the question is does it actually provide downforce like the OEM? When you are tracking at high speeds, the splitter is functional and needs to prevent the front end from getting light.

If anyone with experience with aftermarket replacements and track time (long straights) could comment, that would be very helpful.

Yea i don't really know about that one. Ive only had my car to 150-160 on i35.
I know it is riveted in not bolted. I can put weight in it and it holds to the bumper without separating. I would guess it's "better than nothing" but probably not the best.
On top it visually looks good but it's open on the bottom. Kinda like if you cup your hand and have it upside down.

That's what I love about the OEM splitter, it doesn't have this lame hollow bottom and feels much better as it doesn't disturb airflow with any random curvature, its bottom side is basically flat.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to source ZL1 side skirts (as they're integrated with the rockers) for my car, so the aftermarket side skirts I did end up purchasing, while great quality and holding very steady at speed, also have no bottom, like you described.
