Bypass pressure matters. I'd trust Bosch to get the rest of the filter design right.

If the Bosch filter fits and has a 22psi bypass, then it's probably fine.

According to ChatGPT, Bosch 3334 Premium Oil Filter cross-references to AC Delco PF64.

I have no personal experience with this Bosch filter and can't vouch that it has the correct specs. So make sure you double check yourself if you decide to try it.

Hi guys… thanks for your help
I made it install a bosh 3334 … this was the right référence …
Just another question, but I thought it was the same the first Time … just after that changing the oil and filter… my odometer presents a various oil pressure as if it wasn’t stabilized
When you star the camaro and after she is hot what is the right oil pressure …I think it’s a bit more than 275…

Cold and warm/hot idle oil pressures are different, which is normal.

With the OEM oil pump, your idle oil pressure should be around 35 psi (235-240 kPa) when you cold start the car, and then it drops to 29-31 psi (200-210 kPa) once the oil is closer to operating temperature (185-195 ˚F or 85-90 ˚C).

In high pressure mode, ie when your requested torque and the resulting engine load are both high (WOT or close to it), you should see 50+ psi (340+ kPa).

These numbers are for the typical oil weights, by the way; if you run 15W-50 track oil, for example, I'm sure they will be different.

I run 5w50 Rowe oil and the oil pressure is similar to what you state above. Ambient temps range from 15 C to 45C.

Not trying to start an internet war… but how come you are using the UPF64R instead of PF64? While they have the same physical dimensions, my understanding is they have very different bypass pressure (22psi versus 35psi), so this can’t be good for the engine, right?
