There is no way in hell AWE offered these systems with valves and it snuck past this forum lol, this place has been clamoring for them for years. And I check their website all the time. Unless he has some sort of modified AWE nobody is aware of.

It is a modified exhaust that is not produced by AWE. I think he stated on a FB group that it was some sort of collaboration effort.

I have asked them twice over the last three years and the answer has always been, "no plans". However, I have noticed that some of their newer exhausts that have been developed in the last year or two have been valved. I think they typically call them Switchpath.

![]() Yeah, I have inquired several times as well, they basically said take a hike lol, the demand isn't there according to them. The exhaust would be perfect with LT /high flow cats/awe touring WITH VALVES. |

Okay, then David's post was the opposite of helpful, shall I say braggadocious. Taunting us with a custom exhaust that nobody else can buy, made by AWE who refused to even consider something like this for years despite the continued interest, meaning it's pretty unlikely to be offered to the public
...Now, if this is actually a future AWE product, then I'll eat my words of course, but again, I find it quite unlikely at this point in the Camaro game.

This system when available will retail for $3100.00 and be sold through my shop exclusively per agreement with AWE. SO... I will still forge ahead to bring this community the best in products I can, tested and proven to work flawlessly. When I send Gabe the template for the bumper airflow panel... you will all know its done and ready for sale as a kit! Hopefully the massive storms and rains will pass so I can get on the track and get some real sound clips for everyone soon! |

![]() So now a serious question: is there anyway to retrofit NPP to a car that did not come with it? I never minded not having NPP…until I got catless headers LMAO! So if anyone knows how to install NPP in a car that didn’t have it originally, I’m all ears!

If I was you, I would simply switch to quieter mufflers. Then have the exhaust v band clamped so you can easily drop the axle back at the track. Or have electronic cutouts welded in under the car. Good electronic cut outs seem to have a better valve and stronger motor to seal. The stock valve actuator and valve in the axle back mufflers are not very strong and an engine that flows a shit ton of air(boost) can push the valve open/closed on its own. This is just my experience with stock, Flowmaster, and Corsa NPP. I also heard a Borla NPP and it was the same. JM2C YMMV....

One of the benefits I see (HEAR) is that the exhaust flow going into a larger dual-path crossflow muffler is further canceling exhaust pulse raspy sound and giving me deeper tones that are rounded and smooth sounding... especially when I am just barely lifting the throttle off cruise and it gives this wicked smooth bumble sound I cannot explain with words alone. I am working diligently to make this a kit and also slammed with Gale-force winds at the shop due to the Nor-Easter storms heading South and meeting up with the Hurricane that just broke all records, heading North!! Being close by the Atlantic but worse having three major rivers that drain from all the Smokey Mountains and Carolinas through our back yard... its hard to keep focused. |
