Odd random rapid blink
I’ll preface this by saying I bought the car used so not certain what alls been done to it.
Every time I use my turn signals they’ll blink normal and then I’ll get a random 1-2 rapid blinks and then it’ll go back to normal. Anyone got any idea what this could be? Car is a 2ss model.

The same kind of thing happened relatively frequently at random times on the 2017 LS I used to have, but it's been pretty rare on the 2020 2SS I have now (and have put a similar amount of miles on)

On my 23 2SS if I use the turn signals but only tap not fully engage down the stalk R or L my signals blink 5-6 six times and turns off, I use it a lot.

Not sure how familiar you are with newer cars in the last decade give or take, but if you tap the turn signal up or down, it will blink a few times helping you to change lanes, instead of staying on then you fully compress it.

I think OP is talking about the blink frequency changing to rapid, as though a bulb was out, then back to normal on its own. This isn't the "tap for 3 blinks" feature you guys are pointing out.
I haven't experienced this at all on my 2018, either with stock incandescent turn signal bulbs or with the LED replacements I've been running for years. Could be the bulb starting to go out, or perhaps a different BCM "error signal" I'm not aware of. Sorry for not being more helpful, but this is a strange one indeed. I'd first check for non-stock wiring around the headlight harness and the underhood fuse box and see if anything is loose, fraying or broken.

I’m familiar with the tap and that’s not it. I use that a lot. I’m talking about engaging them fully like sitting at a stop light.

On my e46 BMW, with incandescent bulbs, I'd get this very thing. Was due to a poor fit between bulb and socket. I replaced the bulb a few times with no luck. Wired in a new socket and all was well after that.

I'd assume a wiring gremlin. I've never seen my car do this.

I had this happen on my 2019, and after noticing a few lights wasn't working I took it to the dealer and it turned out to be water intrusion in a few of the connectors and had to be replaced, I hope this is not the case as it was a lengthy process to diagnose and a little costly

That would suck. I’m wondering if it’s not a gremlin though. Brand new battery and the first start of the day is slow and long. Starts fine after that. Doesn’t match the usual slow to start when hot I’ve read about. Could be a small drain somewhere tied to the blinkers. Joy.

To some of the ideas mentioned, both cars were bought new, so no "previous owner did something weird" (and on the 2020 car, it was happening before the current owner did something that could potentially be weird). No water intrusion issues. No loose connections anywhere that I've found (and I'm more hands on than many). It's really subtle and if you're not paying attention, it's easy to miss. I've commented on it to other people in the car that tend to notice these kinds of things and they didn't notice. It was more frequent in the 2017 car, but as soon as it happened in the 2020 car, I figured it was a Camaro thing and stopped thinking about it.

My wife’s Chevy will blink at faster intervals when there was a bulb out.

Normal and that’s with every blink. This is not. This is blink-blink-blink-blinkblink-blink-blink.
