It's a drawing. I doubt today's gm is looking to make anything like a camaro. It's high profit suv's and trucks and their halo vette and a token sedan here and there. The camaro doesn't sell volume without tv or movies propping it up. Unfortunately.

I sure hope not. Looks like a Hot Wheels toy.

Why would they bring back a car that they just canceled in the same form as it was previously (2 door coupe)? Maybe after 2002 it worked, but it just doesn't make sense in our new SUV and EV dominated world. The Corvette is that segment now, and the Camaro will most likely return as a shell of its former self with nothing more than the nameplate slapped on a 4 door EV for soccer moms to race around in.

Coupes don't sell well enough to have two different models in your lineup.

It's looking like Chevrolet will be bringing in a 4-door sedan, probably with a V8 manual as an option. Will they call it Camaro? Hard to say, but there's nothing stopping them. In the '70s Charger was a coupe. In the 2000s it became a sedan and was well accepted with performance powertrains.

Why would they bring back a car that was just cancelled in the same form? I present the 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV, which was cancelled. And the 2027 Chevrolet Bolt that was just revealed last weak.

I really don't care what GM does at this point. I have my last new car from them.

It's just a sketch. I have Edsall's Camaro book on the 6th gen and it has tens of these, if not more, for the original 2016 model.

In other words, this is 99.99% likely bogus.

If it’s in fact a genuine GM design studio piece (you never know anymore) it’s more likely an early draft of a 6th gen concept.

It looks way too similar to the 6th gen production car to be a 7th gen design.

The rear quarter window and sail panels are almost the exact same as actual 6th gen production minus the 26” dia, 325 mm wide tires and wheel arches cut for them.

Until they get rid of Mary Barra, I doubt there will be another real Camaro, or any other genuine sports car (Corvette not included). Not some abomination like a Camaro SUV or Sedan. Remember, she is all in on EV's, despite what consumers want. Didn't she say not too long ago that GM would be 100% electric by 2030, or some other absurd statement? When the leader of the company views their cars as nothing more than appliances on wheels, it's hard to get too excited about rumors of another Camaro.

2035 not 2030. And Mark Reuss shares that vision. Both are now saying that we will eventually get there, but it will take a bit longer. Should we get rid of him too? BTW, he was THE driving force behind the 2014 Z/28 and the C7 and C8 ZR1.

Fast forward to about 26 minutes.

Hilariously not how GM works (says the guy who spent 38 years there). Solstice, SSR, Monte Carlo SS, Impala SS all existed because Tom Stephens, Bob Lutz, and several other VPs and Exec. VPs didn't listen to Rick Wagoner. Now, on the other hand, all of those vehicles are long gone, but not because Wagoner killed them.
