LED Backup Bulbs
Tired searching but with that term it's like finding a needle in a, well you know.
I'd like to swap the white backup lights on my '23 2SS 1LE for some QUALITY LEDs if possible, so I'm looking for recommendations.

Diode Dynamics makes a couple different reverse bulbs for our cars, https://www.diodedynamics.com/backup...maro-pair.html.
Maybe save a few bucks on Amazon with free shipping... XPR (700 lumens) - https://amzn.to/4o1RMWq HD11 (310 lumens) - https://amzn.to/46yws5a HP48 (250 lumens) - https://amzn.to/4mO9Q5C Resistor Kit - https://amzn.to/3KwIJ1n Keep in mind with the 2019+ Camaros you will may need to remove entire rear bumper to replace the reverse LEDs and the LED resistor kit... if you have long super skinny arms it's "doable" without removing the bumper... this video I found shows it: If you have normal arms and want to just pull the bumper and what not I did this video on when I replaced my taillights that shows the process:

Here's the conversation with Diode Dynamics. EDIT: In the first video willzilla posted above the guy mentions that the XPR bulb was too long, so he held it inside the housing while making the connection to make things fit. The guy in the video has a '22 and he added the resistor harness that DD says is not necessary. Thoughts?

If you want to go with something non-LED, try out the Nokya NOK5202 hyper white 21W bulbs from Amazon.
https://a.co/d/i8gq4os I went with them in my car. https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showp...2&postcount=70

I tried two different sets of backup LEDs, Soldered various combinations of resistors to them. It all resulted in the backup camera staying on when the car was not in reverse, making the infotainment system useless. I gave up and installed the Nokya NOK5202 bulbs a year ago and they look good. They produce bright white light that could be mistaken for LED bulbs. Save yourself some grief and try the Nokya bulbs.
