OK all. I have a new vehicle on order so I think it's time to pass along Camaro. I previously posted it about a year ago but I have now lowered the price in hopes of getting it to a new owner. Asking $42,000.

Here is all the info on the car. Please feel free to ask questions or request additional pictures. Let me know what you need to see. Car is in the Phoenix, Arizona area and is kept in a climate-controlled garage when not being driven…which is seldom.

-18,300 miles. Likely to increase slightly as I still occasionally attend Cars and Coffee events

-536 rwhp on E85 (See dyno sheet) Currently running 91 octane

Thanks

Thanks for the bump. Actually, I ordered a new motorhome. I'm short on garage space so I'm afraid the Camaro has to go.

I'm not getting much interest on the forum or locally (except a few $35K offers) so I am probably going to take it to a consignment dealer in North Scottsdale and try my luck there. They deal mostly in exotics but also have several affordable performance cars in their inventory.

New Motorhome? Sounds like you're up for some traveling. Hopefully that outfit in Scottsdale can get you what you want. Modded cars tend to be a bit more difficult to sell. Just got to find the right person. Have you considered Bring A Trailer?

Have you tried AutoTrader? A consignment dealer is just going to drive the cost way up or dig dramatically into your cut with; their cut, doc fees, sales tax. I wouldn’t go that route. Good luck.

I asked a few questions of the dealer and got ghosted. I think I will try alternative methods as suggested. Thanks.

Excellent car. It's annoying that I can never find something like this in Hyper Blue.

Does it come with the radar detector?

Thanks. No radar detector. Hard to find some colors. I was looking for Bright Yellow or Krypton Green when I found this one.

Beautiful car, give Carvana a shot if you haven’t. I sold my dad’s car after getting an offer from them then having AutoNation match their offer.

I miss the classic yellow color, don’t really see them anymore and it’s been probably 5+ years having not seen a 6th gen in Krypton. I’ve seen more 5th gen’s in that green lol

Bring A Trailer

So I submitted the car info to Bring A Trailer. They replied a today and said that the reserve should be set at $31,500 based upon their research. Needless to say, I won't be posting it there. Carvana and others won't give any credit for all of the mods, and are hesitant to purchase a car that won't pass emissions here.

Pretty disappointing.

I’ve sold on BAT several times. It’s a great platform to get the absolute most for your vehicle or part (more for exotics and collector) but they do like to control the script. Hang in there, I think you’ll get your $4X,XXX. Great car for the money Jim.

Thanks. I didn't think it would be this tough to sell.
