I don’t beat my toys to death but enjoy rowing gears every once in awhile and want something I don’t have to stress about doing so in.
It is a stock rear end so I’ll be avoiding launches for my own peace of mind.
I was going to ask for an oil sample but it was literally just changed. As for data logs I’ll have to ask if he’s recorded any.

Is there any body you could recommend to review the data log if he has them?
For a weekend car, you're looking at a straight up race car without weight reduction and full accessories. You'll have power seats and A/C, but it's going to drive like a race car. If that is your thing, then you'll have a great time with the car. Honestly, the SS 1LE's all pretty much ride like race cars, the only thing stock ones are really missing is the clunking and noises of a hopped up engine and shit rattled loose from repeated abuse. This is the kind of car I would go for, because if I wanted something tight and smooth I'd buy something from a guy in jean shorts and a hawaiian shirt.

You say he's only asking $29k for it? That's dirt cheap for a sub ~9 second car. That almost looks like a scam or something is FUBAR about it. Even at fair market, the car is worth ~$20k. So he's only asking $9k for ~$25-30k worth of parts? ****, show me this car ad, I'd buy the car and part it out, throw a stock engine in it, and ask $30k for a stock SS

I’m not really concerned about comfort something fun and adrenaline filling is what I’m searching for.

That’s my worry, something being wrong, although I know people who personally know the guy, they’ve been in the car with him. He just wanted to say he had a 1000hp car and has the $ to do so and now has no interest in it. Personally, if the car hit the market for even 38 I’d be willing to bet it’d be snagged in days. I’m rather set on purchasing it, i just don’t know much about the platform and figured this was the best place to ask.

Other than the LT platform is expensive to work on, it's very solid. And really it's primarily DI fueling that's expensive. While the LT4 fuel system is probably being taxed too hard at 950whp E70, meth must be doing some heavy lifting. So don't ever let the meth run out. A lot of varying opinions on how far you can take the LT4 stuff on what level of E, I'm pretty sure at E70, 950 is somewhere up there lol. But all the expensive stuff is already done to this car. At that price point, I think it's a steal if everything is healthy and on the up & up.
