ZLE Trunk access through rear seats
As the title says, due to electrical problems I am trying to access the trunk through the rear seats.
Can someone that has actually done this give me some tips. I have tried various tools with no luck. Car is in a parking lot and need to gain access. |

If you can get inside the car, you can open the hood and apply jump pack to the terminals under the hood. That should allow you to open the trunk through electric released.
I know you can knock down seats from the trunk, not sure if reverse is possible.

Drove car for 45 minutes and parked. Opened trunk to remove some equipment. About ten minutes later opened trunk again and stowed equipment. Got in car and everything is dead. Dash, seats, radio, and obviously no start. Eventually hooked up battery charger to terminals under hood and charged. Everything is still dead except door locks. I am reading 12.5+ volts at under hood terminals. Nothing works except door locks and turn signals when door locked/unlocked. Turns signals will flash when attempted trunk opening with fob. Cannot open trunk even with battery charger connected. I assume maybe a fuse blown at battery but cannot get trunk open. |

Battery charger *should* provide enough juice to at least pop the trunk release.
I'd start pulling fuses hoping some module resets. Or Where big red cable that comes from battery is connected to fuse box on left (looking at the car head on) of engine bay. Disconnected it, wait a bit, reconnect it. Any chance FOB battery is dead ?
