Competition mode?
I assume all Camaro SSs/A10/drive mode cars will do this so…put car in sport or track mode, turn off traction control, push button again and dash has a message that car is in “competition mode”. Just exactly what is competition mode?

I think it turns traction off but leaves stability on.

I noticed the steering feels more responsive in competitive mode also.

I messed around with Competitive mode in a private area a few times. It is a very enjoyable experience.

The posted thread from Bumbleboy92 is correct.
If you're in the sport mode on your car, one tap of the traction control button turns off traction and leaves stability control on in it's normal setting. A second tap enters the competition mode. In competition mode, the traction control is off, stability control is on, but it's less active. Meaning it won't intervene as early. You will see both the traction and stability control lights on the dash. It's because traction is off, and stability is now in a setting that is not as safe for the street. It will still help you, but the chances of an accident are higher. |

This is a pretty helpful table.

It’s worth noting though that the part of the table where it shows double press in TRACK is specific to 1LE’s.

A shoutout to the original author who made the Excel sheet would've been nice, though

This table is not accurate for non 1LE cars.
Double Press = TC off Stabilitrack On (but competitive mode) Non 1LE cars do not have multiple drive modes in Sport/Track (Or rather non ZL1+ and non 1LE cars do not have PTM's) For better clarity: This does not apply to non 1LE and non ZL1 camaros in sport and track modes. The second screenshot is also not applicable on non 1LE and non ZL1 vehicles. Single press is only TC Off nothing else is turned off or modified and is not competitive mode.

I did come across that table but believed it is meant for 1LE’s moreso than regular cars since the PTM modes are the main point, here’s the original thread linked in the table which explains it in much greater detail
