Moroso coolant tank

Hey all,

Looking to see if anyone has one of the Moroso coolant tanks for the SS gen6. Searched the forums pretty good and haven't seen much of anything.

1) any install issues?
2) if you have a picture of it installed, could you share?

Thanks!

Definitely get rid of that pink plastic under the hood. I have two different ones and prefer the Mishimoto sold by Phastek Performance. The Granatelli was super expensive and I don't think they carry them anymore.

Either way DO IT!!!

Absolutely - that MM tank looks great in your bay. I snagged the Moroso tank shortly after posting this. Couldn't find more than one picture of it actually installed. So - I figured I'd try it, just to be different (which usually backfires on me).

Waiting for it to get powder coated, then will get it installed. Will share pictures and any issues I come about.

The Mishimoto tank isn’t compatible with the OEM strut tower brace on 6th Gen convertibles.

Good deal... either brand its a very nice upgrade to get rid of the pink plastic under the hood. 1st mod on my 24 Panther was this.

Look forward to your pics when done.

Although they’re not as nice as the replacement coolant tanks, Roto-fab and other companies sell coolant tank covers for our cars.

Worth mentioning... if you have a 3d printer and a little surface finishing talent, you can print one of these and have it look nearly as good for next to nothing.

Whoops, I forgot to post a followup to this. Not the greatest pictures, but you get the jist of it.

It came in bare aluminum, naturally, and the fab/weld quality is absolutely top notch. While that looks cool, its a disaster to keep clean, especially with coolant present. Decided to powder coat it semi gloss black.

No more pink bubble, yellowing plastic or concerns about melting at track days.

Where is the lower reservoir level indicator?

It's down on the side. I still had it out from the powder coating for those pictures, whoops. It's just a couple 90 degree push connects and a length of PFA tube.
