Another refresh change, Redline required RS package for all years offered. RS package added LED tail lights but for 2019+ the LED tail lamps were all clear whereas 2016-2018 LED tail lamps were red with optional clear style.

For the 2018/2019 model years where the tail lights were -not- blacked out "by default", they were mentioned in the package and were definitely different from the ones on cars without the package. For 2020 and up, the mention of them was removed because the lights were already blacked out.

Correct, Chevrolet eventually moved from red to smoked tail lights.

i came across a black 2SS Redline for sale yesterday, i recall a 17k mi. 2021 or so for around $35k.

There's definitely a number of them out there... these were basically on the first page of results from a basic search of 2016 and newer:

Second one is perfect example of a dealer that doesn't know what the hell they're doing... They have it listed as a Camaro LT but it's a Camaro LT1... And honestly, they may have it priced pretty well all things considered...

Hey! this is my first car so I didn’t know much at all actually. I just knew that I wanted a Camaro cause growing up my dad had one, so I was just looking and that one was the one that appealed the most to me. so I wasn’t sure about all the specifics, but thanks for telling me definitely will start since I just a bought a Camaro & it’s definitely not a redline edition lol.
