2015 LFX auto tranny fluid change.

can someone direct me to the proper procedure to change tranny fluid?

manual says change, i presume complete flush every 72000 km but no place in my city does flushes and wants $400 to drop pan chnage filter and replace gasket and 5 litres.

i can probly do that for $100 if i know proper procedure

youtube was no help cuz i kept getting contradicting procedures

im already at 105,000 but only owned it since 67,000 so its probly safe bet to assume it wasnt done yet

To answer your question, yes. Chilton manual pg 1-17 and 1-18. Pretty straightforward but a bit tedious. As I mentioned in your other post remember to verify proper gasket in the new kit BEFORE you start disassembly. 😉

I wouldn't say places routinely sell the wrong gaskets, my particular incident may have been a fluke. Before you start wrenching count the number of holes in the gasket and verify with your pan. I do believe the one I got had the correct filter but a gasket for the V8 cars. As far as getting the manual online I'm sure it's possible but I've never looked into it as I'm pretty ol' school when it comes to info but I do visit YouTube quite often nowadays. Yeah, $80 is kinda spendy but in the long run it might be worth it if it's convenient, saves you time and reduces frustration.
