If GM wants to stay in business:

1. Simplify the lineup
2. Bring back simple V6 and V8 engines that are easy and cheap to fix and maintain
3. Make cars and trucks affordable again.

There’s no way a 6.2 Tahoe should be $80k. $$60k max. Same for the Silverado.

Prices have gone mad.

The price wouldn't be that high if people would stop buying them for that much. People don't question cost anymore.

Very true!

No one negotiates or simply gets up and walks out if the dealer won’t budge on price.

My dad taught me to put together an offer in writing myself, at home, before you even walk into a dealer, with the car I want and my contact info and simply hand it to the salesman and tell them “you sell me the car for that price I’ll buy it right now. If not, you have my info and you can call me if/when you change your mind”.

Own it before you walk in.

Now everyone just signs the 10% finance sheet for 8 years and $1200/mo like a zombie.

Guess I am the only one left. I also do my research and look at other dealerships in the US because there are those that give a 10% discount and ship to all 50 states that and do Taxes, titles etc in all 50 states. There are some you can even special order from and do the same. I bring that info with me too so I give them a chance to do business locally and if not I do business with them.
