2023 2SS upgrading to ZL1 brakes

Purchased a 2023 rapid blue Camaro 2SS convertible last May. It has the 4 piston Red Brembo calipers. I purchased new loaded ZL1 calipers and rotors. Painted the calipers rapid blue and will install this fall. The red calipers are for my 2018 Yukon Denali, front rotors are 16.25".

Very nice

Interesting how even though the Yukon rotors are larger, the swept surface still seems to be less than with the smaller ZL1 rotors.

The calipers look good blue - they would look good with my red car. I’m opposite you, I like the calipers to be a different color than the car.

Why did you decide to go bigger?

About the same cost to buy new so I could paint them before install, fill up the 20" rims better and better braking. I will sell the factory red Brembos with rotors once done.

I like a bit of contrast... Like making the calipers stand out... Kinda stops people in their tracks, like "OK, that's got something going on..."

How do you like your wheels andchow are they holding up? I've been looking for factory SS 1LE wheels but so spendy. Ready the aftermarket ones offsets were different. Any rubbing? Tire sizes?

I have the BCD brakes, on my SS1LE. They fill the 20” wheels very well:
