While likely true since Jason has been doing this professionally for so long, you are being humble in my opinion. I'd let you tune my stuff, no questions asked.

Regardless, the fact that you, Jason, and Ted have helped me out before with questions on the Gen V ECM's either here and/or on the HPT forum speaks volumes to the fact that you are all good dudes.

Follow-up..

Ted brought something to my attention regarding the Eddie kit. Did not realize they reuse the factory map sensor. Heres where my confusion continues and I'm hopeful you guys might have some details. It comes with a MAF/map harness, and one of the plugs is labeled tmap. However it only has two pins populated. Doesn't seem right. Want to get a 4 bar map integrated, per Teds suggestion, but not sure if the latest Edelbrock harness will work or if I need a different harness.

Disregard....just noticed there is a bosch tmap reinstalled on the blower. It's a Bosch 261230302.

He tuned my car with the Maggie 2300 and all the other mods (in stages) that you see in my sig, and it's near perfect. He even sent me a free tune update (without me asking) years after me purchasing their products and tune, simply because he wants to be 100% proud of his work and said he'd learned new things in the meantime.

Well.. getting closer. Everything is installed, base tune flashed and she started. Couple small snags before I can drive it through.

The provided Bosch intercooler pump will not turn on. I installed the Edelbrock provided harness as they instructed. There is 12v at the pump plug, however..I am somewhat concerned about the polarity, given the way they made the harness.

The wires colors are red to ground and black to positive. The relay stays latched (pulled in) the instant I plug it into the harness, regardless of ignition position. Naturally, Edelbrock isn't open on the weekend (when everyone actually does this kind of work) so I will have to reach out tomorrow. There's also a map/baro sensor code being thrown...but I'm hopeful that's just a calibration thing.

Any body have issues like this with these blower kit harnesses?

Quick update. Just got done staring at pictures online and through the manual.

The wire labels that Edelbrock installed were placed on there incorrectly. Effectively inverting positive and negative.

Turns out - when you have the polarity correct - things actually work as intended. That was a pretty rediculous, but potentially dangerous/expensive flaw.

Pump turns on now. Now I question every single thing that Edelbrock did on the two provided harnesses. Naturally, they dont have published wiring diagrams. Really hoping nothing has been damaged.

Welcome to the world of aftermarket...If that ends up being your only issue then you are doing well.

His intake tube is so impeccably lush wet black, though, I'm in envy

Unfortunate to hear that's the sentiment in this community. Not what I'm used to from the JDM world.

I'm sure it won't be my only issue, thanks for the curse
