Throttle Lag
2019 ZL1 A10; Can someone explain the throttle lag from part throttle to wide open throttle? When I 'punch it' from just about any speed this thing lags like it has turbos instead of a supercharger. Bogs and then comes on like gang busters.

The A10 wants to downshift first, but even then it shouldn't be that bad.
Here's a trick: blip the throttle to the floor first (as if the pedal was a switch), or take a few turns very aggressively, which will engage Performance Shift Mode on the trans, bringing and keeping the revs in the powerband around ~4K, and then punch it. The car should start hauling the mail immediately.

If its changing gears in automatic mode, that's normal as mentioned. It's not a DCT so there will be a delay when it has to change from 8th-10th gear to 3rd gear.
Put it in manual mode, hold the RPM's at 3000-4000 and then punch it when its in the right gear. Is there still a delay when you do this?
