Reverse Camera not working - Fixed
I’ve seen a variety of fixes for the backup camera going out, usually going back to stock taillights or stock side markers which unfortunately did nothing for me. My case was I began having issues with video feed and one day it stopped altogether, leaving me with a blank screen whenever I tried the reverse camera. See below:
https://youtube.com/shorts/TgxuNSDoWlA?feature=share After coming back I read that the connector can cause issues with dirt or grime, I unbolted the few screws on the rear left of the car and found two connectors. Looking at one it had noticeable cables rubbed: I reattached those two cables with solder and heat shrink, then wrapped the entirety of the exposed cables with electrical tape and now it’s working as OEM!

No problem!
I actually revisited this area on my 2022 and noticed that the two cable plugs are held up against the body with clips. I’m both my cars the cables were not hooked up to the clips which caused the rubbing, thankfully nothing had started rubbing yet before I found out.
