Arrow TIME for a NEW CLUTCH ???

Hey Team,
At 840rwhp and 8,250 miles, In my 2022*Camaro ZL1 1LE, I think*my factory*clutch is starting to go

The clutch*pedal feels very soft in the first 1/3 and slightly soft the next*2/3 of travel.*I think I am hearing some slight noise from the throwout bearing, and have smelled the clutch on a few occasions.*This is strictly*a street car for now, no hard launches, mostly roll racing...*

That said, may I ask your thoughts on a clutch and flywheel combo?*

Heard alot of good things about the Monster Triple, but already heard that the replacement LT4 clutch is actually the LT5 replacement now with better holding power and improved throwout bearing???

Let me know what you think...

Dang it. Therein lies my current dilemma, too...

I've heard 1000rwhp is no problem for the LT4/LT5 stuff. But then I hear stuff like this, and I also want to take mine to the strip and launch it.

So while I'm staring at the back of my engine on the engine stand, I'm thinking, "What's another $2,200 at this point? I mean, it's right there looking at me and I have to install a flywheel and clutch anyway before the motor goes back in."

Back on topic, the LT1-S triple would be what I'd order on my car. I had one on my 5th gen ZL1, and it was awesome. A little bit of noise under 1500rpm, but otherwise you'd never know it wasn't stock (except that it never slipped ).

Let me know which way you go. Maybe we can get a 2-person group buy from Monster.

I definitely wouldn't run the stock clutch on a 1000whp build. Put a monster triple in it while it's apart.

Are you installing their flywheel and billet bearing support as well?

You bet... I have spoken to about 12 people in the last 24 hours and everyone said hands down, this is the best set up for a street car... excited to have some clutch peddle pressure again
