Heads/Cam 2650 Dragy

Just curious if there are some people out there running the Dragy with their ZL1’s. I recently did some testing after having the trans tune dialed in. Full weight on 20’s managed some pretty consistent 4.6’s with some wheel spin. Very happy considering the setup isn’t aggressive at all and still SBE.

Majority of whats done:
-BTR Stage 1 Cam
-FRE Stage 2 stock castings
-SBE
-TSP 2” stock muffler
-9.45/3.4 pulleys
-Magnuson 2650
-112TB
-+65’s
-LPE HPFP
-DSX Aux
-JMS on factory low side
-E60 Fuel
-20x11.5 315/30 Toyo RR Rear 20x10.5 Front 295/30/20 Firestone Firehawk Indy 500

I need to get a mount. Right now I sit it next to my wideband in the corner of the dash and most of the time I keep my hand on it while making a pull.

I'd say mid 4's is pretty dang impressive! I'm going to get a dragy once I finish my build. If I break into the 4's at all with the M6, I'll be beyond happy.

I didn't see where the dragy said it equated a 4.6 to 1/4 mile times. Do you have that info OP?

This is 60-130 testing starting from a roll. Ain't nobody with this kind of power out on the street doing 1/4mi pulls. The car is going to spin to the 330ft and probably run somewhere in the 10's. Put it on a drag pack and take it to MIR, it will probably run low 9's @ 152-153.

Oh no I agree, I just remember seeing a spot on the draggy app where it said 1/4 time, so I thought it would equate whatever 60-130 pull to the estimated 1/4 mile end time.

There is a generic chart for trap speed but I never saw anything for 1/4. Agreed spin city especially on 20’s trying to do 1/4 mile.

Sweet! Let us know how you like them, been trying to decide my next rear tire, and wether to stick with the 305’s or try to go a little wider.

The time I posted was with the 315/30 version. I will try these out and see how they do and report back. Should be better since I have a 11.5 wide wheel which should fully utilize a 325 width.

I have a somewhat similar build but I have port injection.
I have the 80mm upper and 9” lower. I run about the same 60-130 on 18psi, e65. Low side is fore triple.

How much max boost are you seeing with your bigger lower?
I make about 1000whp on a dynojet.

Above 65ish degrees I see just over 17 at 7,100 and if it’s cold out it will go up to 18.5.
