Tachometer stuck at zero for one trip
I had a strange issue a few months ago. One day, I started the car and the tach stayed at zero. I drove around, got on the highway, shifted through to 6th, and the tach was still at zero.
Then I arrived, parked, shut off ignition. When I next started the car, the tach was working normally again. This issue has not appeared again so far. Should I be worried? Has anyone else experienced such issue? |

Very strange. I would lean toward the cluster being the problem but kinda hard to say if it isn't doing it anymore.

Happened to me a few times. I noticed it occurred when I had slow cranking issue, and I shift into Drive too quickly before the dashboard fully powers up.
Since then, I’ve replaced the starter, battery, and I now always wait for the tachometer self-test to complete. I haven’t had the issue since.. |
