It definitely does ride rough but doesn’t bother me. Everyone who rode in my SS 1LE and now my ZL1 1LE are like what is wrong with this thing. Our roads aren’t the best here

Factory EQ correction was a huge milestone, along with getting the audio equipment installed. The factory EQ is tailored by GM Audio Engineers to match the speakers installed, but aftermarket solutions need to remove this EQ. Using the JL Audio Tun software, and a bag of tricks, I can get the HU signal into my laptop and view the curve, then EQ and adjust to flatten within the JL MV600/6i amplifier.

Dropped off my 1LE reps this morning to get powder coated. The splitter, skirts and spoiler are all in 1LE black so I tried to get as close as possible. Should have them back within 2 weeks.

Road Spy and Gen5 DYI
Added a Road spy mount and Gen5 wire harness. Looks great but Gen5 might have a bad bunch of plugs. The Uniden plug is too loses, cuts in and out. Both installed easy. Want the wire hidden. Wait and see what Gen5 says Monday.
Gen5 had a new one shipped with label for return, GREAT Customer Service!

Long day..
In the midst of installing the Eddie 2650 kit. Naturally, I figured since I'm draining coolant and ripping the headers out again, I might as well do some "while your in there's".
Installed LT4 injectors and HPFP (thanks again RobZL1) BMR engine mounts (drivers side is a PITA, bolts are in reduculous locations) Toohighpsi valve covers (entirely unnecessary - I'm a whore for good machine work) Toohighpsi billet tstat housing Skip shift patch harness. Enough for one day, I'm whipped. Funny thing is, the actual supercharger kit installation is really quite simple. Looking forward to putting the icing on the cake. |
