Got home from a work trip in Germany and the battery was dead (only sitting a week).

New aftermarket electronics perhaps?

Nicely done. My daughter has her permit and refuses to drive my ZL1. I guess that is a good thing. We have a matching pair of Fiesta ST’s and she loves hers. Right off the start she wanted a manual car. I think I’m winning at this parenting thing. Lol!!

On another note, I spent this morning doing light wet sanding and polishing to my deck lid as a couple local birds decided to eat what I can only describe as acid mixed with toxic waste and leave me a couple gifts. Car was only outside for a couple hours. Luckily I caught it early enough before it did major harm.

This weekend finally got around to installing new GY SC3's and ACS Composite side skirts. Side skirts fit like a glove, super easy to install

Spent the day washing it, vacuuming it, and cleaning the inside of the windows... so clear I couldn't tell the windows were up...

Thanks. I had to do the intake cover twice as I got a hold of some bad paint that peeled right off between a couple of the layers. It wasn't fun stripping it all off to start over either.

You should get her into autocross, Fiesta ST would be a great car to learn in, then maybe she would want to step up to the ZL1.

One disadvantage to putting on side skirts, if you track the car and end up in a sand trap the skirt will catch and rip the entire rocker panel off. Ask me how I know. I love the look but they are not practical for track. If I ever decide to stop tracking I will probably put a new set on.

Yep, you're not wrong. Myself, I'm not a track guy so I don't have to worry about that. As for the appearance, they do complete the look. I had a set of EOS side skirts before, and they looked too boxy. The ACS skirts have much nicer lines and don't stick out as much.

I’m guessing the same goes for the ZL1, that must suck but at least the side skirts are readily available lol

After much measuring, cutting, dremeling and re-attaching with some plastic JB Weld, I finally got the stock fuel rail covers to look decent with the LT2 intake manifold.
