Hey guys... Finally made it to the DYNO this week for the new set up, so I have some preliminary results.

DYNO Graph below... Although I did change alot of parts on the car this round, here are the changes that would have benefitted power the most.

1. Went from a "standard" ported blower to a "KONG X Ported blower". My initial feedback on this upgrade is AMAZING. Not only does the XPORT really help this little blower breath at higher RPMS, the car feels too much faster, as it has moved peak torque up just enough to actually help traction, not to mention all the extra sweet blower whine... I am super happy with this upgrade.

As you can see from the graph below.... the GREEN line was my OLD combo, with the standard port + 2.4 upper and 9.2" lower.

When we swapped the blower, I kept the pulley combo the same just so I could see the before and after affect on boost curve / pressure. As you can see, it's pretty significant between the GREEN and BLACK lines.

What I found most interesting, is that the boost increase up top, that peaked around 3psi more made the car feel tremendously faster, whereas the big loss down low in boost had little to no effect on how fast the car feels. If anything, the car is easier to hook from a 2nd gear roll.

Although the pulley combo is still wimpy, it then added the 2.3" upper (which is about 4.5% more OD) as I was targeting 16psi for peak boost, and boy did that wake her up even more adding 1.5psi across the power band. That is the BLUE line on the graph.

So that is where I left the pulley combo as we dialed in the car...

2. With a the Katech Dual Drop In Low-side Fuel Pump in place, with access from this really cool Back Seat Fuel Pump Access Hatch, we now have plenty of low-side pressure to play with and support more E.

3. While the blower was off, I ended up Installing a set of XDI %50+ Injectors, and although I planned to Install a Goliath HPFP, I ended up selling the one I had earmarked for my car to someone in need... so I decided to see how far we could push the OEM LT4 HPFP with E60 blend... which as you can imagine, is now my weak link in the fuel system.

So, Aside from a fresh set of Brisk Silver Racing RR12S Spark Plugs, and some DEI Chill Charger, the only other changes were...

Standard to KONG XPORT + 4.5% More Pulley + 10% More Ethanol.
Those combined netted me 60rwhp + 6rwtq for a new total of 838rwhp / 805rwtq.

My only reservation that day was the HEAT... as my last DYNO session was
68F and the new one was around 94F (I was bummed because this shop changed their hours and they no longer offer DYNO service until much later in the day, which I assumed would take a toll on power)

After looking at the log, although my MATS were still low, around 133F range, the lower quality air, did seem to lower my boost pressure about 1psi after 4,000rpm. I assume this was due to the poor air quality, and not belt slip, but I plan to data log again tomorrow in cooler air to confirm.

Also, if you were curious what the average MPG is for an 800+ rwhp car on E60 driving 75 miles (mostly cruising along with 3-4 4th gear pulls... averaged 14.6 MPG...

That said, the car feels much faster, but I assume It would have made more power if ambient temps were at 68F to match the last session vs. 94F??? What do you think???

Dude! That is awesome. I love the shift in the torque curve from the X-port. What a beautiful beast. Congrats on getting it all dialed in!

Oh, one last thing... I do not know if it needs to be said, but I will say it anyway as I have had a few people reach out on the side.... is my choice of tuners, and reason for trying (3) tuners in 3 years.... so here it is

1. When I jumped into the 6th. Gen. platform, I went straight to Camaro.6 about a year prior (did not have social media at the time) at it was clear that Ted Jannetty had alot of success on the platform, alot of happy clients, and a deep understanding of the LT4... which is why I decided to work with him for my initial Phase.2 build and remote tuning. I believe I posted about it, but TED did a great job tuning the car, we made great power, and only ran into an issue when I decided to take my cats off the car for a while, and asked TED for a re-tune, and he made it clear he did not feel comfortable tuning a CA car with no cats. So I decided to look around, and like many of you here may have done.... I reached out to...

2. KingLT1. For those who know, Joe is a tremendously smart man, with tons of experience in the platform. Although he did, and still only does tunes "part time" for the right people, I was and still am impressed with his depth of knowledge, humble attitude, and time invested back into the community with his many thoughtful and insightful responses to our questions. That said, Joe was fantastic to work with, and helped me set the car up with "no cats" for at least a little while until my GESI 4.5" UHO cats were installed. It was Joe's tune that set the 770rwhp baseline in the graph above. Joe is a stud and I still recommend him to clients today.... the ONLY issue I had with Joe, is that he does not offer dedicated DYNO support because he is still only tuning part time, which for me at the time bummed me out, because I was worried I would be leaving power on the table, not being able to test / tune on the DYNO... So over the last year while working on and building GMS I came across my current tuner...

3. Justin White. Many of you may know him from his many appearances on the Go Hard Postcast, and now his own channel Tuned in with JWT where he is known for his raw candidness, deep experience, industry relationships, and perhaps most of all "no gate keeping 2025" that said, we ended up talking over a clients car who had seen some impressive MAT temp reductions on a road-course with my GMS High Flow Impact Bar, and he called me to learn more. After talking, we ended up talking about my build, and I took him up on his offer to help with the next phase, as promised to make time for me once the car made it to the rollers. That said, working with JWT has been a little challenging due to how busy he is. You do need to essentially "harass" him at time to make sure your emails / texts float to the top. At the end of the day, I do appreciate his attention to detail, platform experience, and eagerness to help in any way possible.

In summary, I feel blessed to have access to so many great tuners. I know my choice to "jump around" likely upset both TED and JOE, but having spoken to both of them, I am confident they understand why, and for those who didnt know the full story, I hope this helps.

I still recommend both Ted and Joe to many clients and friends and Camaro.6 is blessed to have them online as often as they are...

Cheers to making friends, helping others, treating others with respect, and as always, GOING FASTER and STAYING COOLER.

Thanks ROB... I try HARD not to get caught up in DYNO numbers, but I was expecting to see 850 or more...

That said, this is by far the fastest car I have ever been in, and I cannot imagine how much scarier all of you with driving around with 1,000+ rwhp!!!
Much respect to those who can harness that level.
