P3 Gauge Boost settings

I know I may not have been the only one trying to get the boost setting to work on my P3 gauge. The instructions are old per the rep at P3 and instead of setting the boost setting to bst.6 you should use bst.5.

1. Hold both buttons till you see conf on the screen
2. Press the right button till you see the boost setting. If you are not set there keep pressing the right button till you are there.
3. Press the left button to cycle through till you get back around to bst.5.
4. Press and hold the right button till the screen goes blank.
5. Start the car and you should now be seeing readings on your screen. Mines started off at -16.8.
6. Just mash the gas and it should go to 0.

If you did this correctly you're set and should be good to go.

Wow, crazy how the internet eventually finds what you're looking for.
Thanks for posting this. I was wondering why my P3 gauge wouldn't read boost with the bst.6 setting or bst.d This did it.
Now, is it accurate though?

That's great to know. Why does P3 have the bts.6 setting specifically for the 6 gen Maps that don't work. Seems like an oxymoron to me, lol.

I was curious and called P3.
They stated that the setting is technically bst.6,but on some modified cars, for some reason it doesn't like that setting so bstd.5 will work just fine.

Thanks for the great post!
