Well, as it turns out, my car is completely apart, so if anyone wants to use my car to help figure it out, say the word.

Hopefully it will come with a CARB certification.

I am game. I already templated the entry point geometry and utilized OEM mounting positions... Just need to adjust for with or without the GMS Crash Bar / Oil Cooler (those would all be different models). I have the designs in my head, but happy to collaborate

The redesign looks SICK!!! I'M VERY EXCITED!!!

Hmm... So - you're thinking the air box deflector might be a future upgrade/ addition? That looks bad ass! I, almost, want to wait to install the bar so I don't have to take the facia off again, lol... I'm curious on the $$$ range... hmm...

EXCITING STUFF!!!
Thank you sir... I timing sucked to redesign, but the product will be worth the wait. As for the "ram air" sheet metal yes.... mine is a rough draft (so I can start tuning my car)... working on some 3D design now...

No idea on price, that would depend on the materials... if it stays a 2 pieces sheet metal design, I could see it retailing between $150-185 +/-

Never a dull moment in the GMS garage

Sorry, just realized you were referring to an OTR design... not just an air path channel... still interested to discuss.

I could see "A(round)TR" but it's a stretch for me to see "over" unless you move the radiator. Not much clearance to be had there between the top of the radiator and the hood as far as I can tell.

I sent him my sketch design of the setup in mind. Whether or not it can be done with the space constraints in place is yet to be seen, but I have full confidence in Gabe's abilities or have a feeling he knows a guy who has the ability to craft it with his hands.

TBC for sure. There would be a HUGE market for it if executed correctly and good sir here would have an indefinite chokehold over the intake game without a doubt.

I'll definitely need a Goliath and to the lower the high pressure tuning a little bit if that ever becomes a possibility because I know that would make some solid gains over OE designs.

If you decide to go another way (like the OTR, for example) and are getting rid of that thing, let me know how much you want for that prototype, lol. I'm interested in that thing! If it fits under the facia, I almost don't care about anything else. I don't make enough power that it'd, probably, matter.

For the record, I benefitted IMMENSELY from switching from a stock intake to an OTR on my LS2 GTO at the time, and that's that it was an NA motor with half the power that you and I make on our LT4's. ImAn OTR would without question benefit you or anyone else on here for that matter if you got the supporting mods to handle it.

SMALL BUILD UPDATE;

Remote tuning is going well.
Starting getting into low boost, and DAMN does the car feel strong!
Even at 50% throttle, and the same pulley combo, the whine of the KONG X.PORT sounds incredible!

Also, was finally able to fill up my first tank of straight E85 (which at my local pump is 80%) which only costs $46 thanks to $2.69 costs here, and the full tank mileage range is whopping 145 miles

So far, all temps and pressures are looking good. Just about done dialing in all of the new Banks iDash sensors... hopefully have some data to share soon.
