Does the ABS module take suspension travel as an input? If so, how about the influence of a lowered car to the OE ABS cal? Did the car not have it's rubber suspension bushings timed to the new static ride heights? We gotta look at all these variables, whether small or large, and how they affect the entire package.

Yeah, I have no idea, my car is lowered slightly, but I did reset the sensors, but I have no idea how that all works together in concert

I thought I would post is here as well just some more people can see it and we’ll see it

My 2018 ZL1 accepted the brake module from the 2020 ZLE with no error messages or codes.
This should mean that if ZLE’s truly have no ice mode issues then my car should no longer either.
Most importantly, this should mean that everybody else can do this to their car as well instead of having to sell their car and buy a different model, or change the driving style severely or forgo modding and upgrading in their car to make it faster

I’ll be testing the car at the track this Friday, August 18 and will report back. So far every time I’ve been to the track it has only taken a half a day to have icemode, so if I have an entire day at the track with no ice mode, I will consider it a success.

(Note I already have a 2019 ZL1 brake module in my 2018 and it did not make a difference regarding ice mode)

Confirmed ZLE braking module does not fix the issue, it may reduce the severity of it, but it does not completely Get rid of it

I've finally gotten my hands on a 2020 abs module that matches my car (hopefully). For those who have swapped these, were you able to just swap the controller in the car or did you have to remove the whole pump, bleed the brakes etc? Hoping to save myself some time and not open the brake lines

I swapped just the controller module in the car but it is tight. I did a write up of the steps here: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showt...0#post11248660

I just exchanged the electronics, did not touch the brake lines at all. If you have the right tools it'll take you 20 min, it's a bit of a pita to get to.

My car required a reset after, dash lit up with warnings.. it just took a drive around the block. Another person who did it pulled the ABS fuse first and the car didn't reset, that might be the best bet, idk... My car seemed to reset to 2019 software too, settings for the rearview camera popped up and it wasn't even an option in '18, lol.

I will say my '19 EBCM has eliminated ice mode for me, even running a square setup no more hard pedal.
