Car makes noise after I added E85

My car started to make a weird noise after I added E85. I first noticed a big change in the E85 mixture after I added the fuel. My fuel readings g went from e50 to e42 and it has never dropped that low after the mixture was completed. Here is the video please help and ideas injectors maybe?

Not a lot of experience with E85 in these cars since there's like 1 pump in the entire state. However, I suspect the difference in sound could be heard in the HPFP and Injectors to some degree. Fuel system is going to work a bit harder all the time, and an ethanol blend pops a little different compared to straight gas. I can't say I really hear anything out of the ordinary in that video without knowing what your car sounded like "normally."

Theoretically there should be not much of a difference in engine or injector sound, especially at idle or low loads, where the extra fuel needed for E is minimal in absolute terms. My car sounds exactly the same at E10 and E55-E60, even at WOT, although I have the Maggie 2300, not the 2650 like yours does.

I will say that injector tick noise is much more noticeable with long tube headers to begin with, but there is no difference along the E range, or at least I can't hear it.

Also, you pumping E and the blend going from E50 to E42 makes no sense, are you saying you adjusted the blend down by pumping that much more 93 than E?

As GreyGhost702 noted, do you have a video with the state before you noticed the change?

The flex fuel was at e50 when I first mixed it. After about 5-10minutes the gauge was reading E42. I didn’t change anything up. I have never seen that happen with the fuel just dropping that low after the mix was created.

Could be just that you made the initial reading very shortly after filling the tank when the new fuel hasn't had the time to mix with what had already been in the tank.

We have a saddle style fuel tank design with a combo pump that depletes one half almost completely before starting to consume from the other half, so if you didn't start with a near empty tank, this is a plausible reason for the drop in E reading.

All that said, I still don't think your car should sound different at low loads depending on E content, please upload two sound clips for comparison, if you can.
