4 amp battery drain

I purchased a beauty 2016 convertible and it was great for the first 2 weeks. Then I went out one day and the battery was dead. I charged it and drove it and all was good ... till the next day... DEAD again.
I removed the neg cable and checked the draw and it was 3.7 amps! No wonder it was dead.
That was 2 weeks ago and I have been trying to find the cause, but cannot.
PLEASE HELP.
Has anyone had this problem?

Open the hood and trunk and use a screwdriver to close the latches so that the car thinks they are still closed,
Start with larger fuses and pull then one at a time while monitoring your draw. Once you have found a main fuse that dramatically lowers the draw ,reinstall the main fuse and move to all the sub fuses that branch from that main fuse. Once you have determined which of those fuses are associated with the draw, figure out what components are powered from it.

Dont forget that you will have a high draw at first and it will lower as modules go to sleep. Not all of them go to sleep at the same time and most every fuse you pull and reinstall will wake the modules back up again.

Also load test the battery.

Does your Camaro have any aftermarket or third party accessories installed?

This is a very common cause of issues.

yeah.
The pulling fuses idea will work, but I would start looking at the rear taillights and reverse lighting for aftermarket LED's. There is a way these can draw power if not installed correctly. There is a detailed thread on Camaro6 explaining it.

Suspect any aftermarket changes first (e.g. lighting, audio).

Here's a chart from similar thread. measure voltage drop across the fuse:

Had the same thing happen to me, ended up being the radio not shutting off like it should. Try pulling a fuse at a time and see when the draw drops. Start with stuff like the radio or OnStar if you’ve got it.

FYI...

If your radio stays on after you turn the car off and open the driver's door, check the software for a pending update and install it. GM configured this is as a "signal" for the OTA update but never made sure people knew.

There is also a glitch where the display backlight will stay on with a black screen when key off door closed, when one or more modules false-faults due to low voltage or MIL request (CEL).

Solution is to disconnect battery, charge it with a battery tender, them reconnect the battery, turn on the car in service mode and clear codes.

You don't have to pull fuses to check for draw. Much easier to use your DMM to measure current in parallel with each fuse. The meter will see half of the current through each fuse. The metal tabs on the outside of the fuse are for this purpose.
