We want to live in a society where you can park your car anywhere and it will not get stolen.

Might need to build our own CECOT at some point. Not for car thiefs but as a deterrent.

Due to current situations going on, I think the normal society days are over.

I like the idea of CECOT BUT I think the current CECOT is good enough and how about revoking their privileges here at home before sending them on a vacation

Camaro thefts are seriously out of control. It is freaking crazy!

Yeah I totally agree, I'm even hesitant to park my car when I cant see it. It just sucks that you can't have nice things without someone messing with it.

I use a Faraday pouch (this one, it's cheap and works well), but let's not blame the victim here.

Sure, he could've gotten lucky if these ****s performed a simple relay attack without advanced tools, but 1) where do you draw the line, and 2) why should owners be forced to turn their vehicle into Fort Knox in a normal society? I'd rely on proper deterrrence instead, but that'd be mildly offtopic.

I'm ok with a CECOT for thieves!! I also think we should cut off a body part for a Camaro theft! Or even attempted theft.

Just wanted to update this. My car was stolen, recovered, and the thieves were caught. The DA for Houston called me and said over 100 Camaros came from this group, and I bet this ZL1 was one of them.

I have close friends in the DA's office here in Houston, next time I see them I will try and pry a little to see if I can get anymore information.

I’ve got at least 151 matching those, they got a bit higher target profile after production stopped. When I first posted this thread the thefts for 6th gen’s were almost 2 a day in Dallas and other parts of Texas
