GMS - Backseat Fuel Pump Access Hatch
Hey Team, just wanted to share some photos of my 4th iteration of this new backseat fuel pump access hatch. Going to make one last revision with hole placement and perimeter radius to make it easier to install the foam gasket I decided to go with. Fitment is pretty good despite the compound curve / radius makes it pretty hard to bump bend. Luckily the .063" aluminum has just enough give to match the contour with the (10) mounting bolts...
Question; still deciding between JACK NUTS and RIVET NUTS.... what would you guys prefer? My concern with supplying RIVET NUTS is that I dont believe many people have that install tool? Maybe I'm wrong?

Maybe an option for either? Rivet nuts with a YouTube tutorial and sell a starter kit for this?

Hey team, for those of you who put in a pre-order, I am happy to announce that they are just about done with production, and we are cleaning, taping, and packing all day tomorrow so that we can start shipping the dozens of pre-orders we received. Looks great! Only for the ZL1, or does this correspond to the fuel pump location for other trims?

Where's the fun in dropping the tank 6-times, rather than a functional product?...
