Great, you don’t want to race like that - Find someone else to be an Edelbrock spokesperson then. I actually have stock mag ride and springs that came from GM. Yes it has drag radials. Cars that actually make power need those.

What are you shifting at? That's a blower speed of only 24,000 at 7000

It was between 6900 and 7300 depending on gear and what the trans wanted to do. That was back when we struggled with consistency on the 10L90. Command one thing and get something else. Or try raising RPM and it doesn’t shift at all.

Mine shifts at 6950. Are you launching in first or second gear?

Super curious on current thoughts on this, The Eddie 2650 is almost 2 grand cheaper right now and comes with new valve covers, If im only planning to stay at 8psi is the eddie the better choice here?

I'd vote for the Eddie for what you're saying.
I don't think you have to cut the hood for an SS. Having a smaller snout isn't going to hurt you in this application (nor would it until you need a good bit more power). The cooling is good. I'd make sure if you have emissions stuff you need to adhere to that you make sure you get the kit you need. No one's as bad as it is here, but I'm just saying, just in case.

Agreed. That's why I had to, kinda', qualify that, lol. I thought I only wanted a ZL1, and look where that got me, LOL. I have been saying I needed about 650 since the 5th Gen came out, and look what happened...
I don't even like the Eddie, lol.

I have no idea at that small of a boost level about the whine sound....I know with the DSX lid and my car, it's loud as hell lol...so just go 2650 and you'll have plenty of room to build from there.
