It's $49.95... REALLY???

And then people wonder why companies stop producing products... If you can afford a $35k-$75K car, you can dish out "1/2 an oil change" for a nice, well written manual... I bought one of these more out of nostalgia (as I have the entire GM Service Manual (electronically))... But I had this very same manual for my first car, a 1980 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais... I even waited to order my Camaro until the 2020 model year so it was exactly 40 years newer than my first car... (plus we got rid of the 2019 SS front fascia)...

I bought the hardcopy version and just created an account to access the online version of the book. FYI that the online version prompts you to select a specific engine and seems to limit the online access to the option you select. I’m a little disappointed that we don’t seem to have access to all of the engines.

I want to order one for my SS1LE. In looking at the back cover, it's unclear if that's in the book or online. Am I just being stupid?

Im not a fan of buying things that are pretty much useless. Information in Haines/Chilton manuals are very rarely anything beyond whats in the owners manual or very very basic general automotive knowledge.

Like i said earlier. Im replacing the RKE module in my car today. It's a very simple job. But i highly doubt that anything useful to that repair is in that pile of pages.

Just bought it, will keep it on my toilet for when I'm ready to read it; 10 minutes at a time.

Mine came today. Like others have said, I like the benefit of having a hard copy(making my own notes in it, etc) but a bummer the LT4 and certain other things(Electronics, etc)are online. It's not THAT big of deal though, I'm used to our airplane manuals that we use being digital for the last 10+ years, when they USED to all be hard copy printed versions. . All good!
SORRY FOR THE SIDEWAYS PIC!
