everything that I have looked up so far had torque specs. It has factory bulletins with service data and corrective action. Haven't done a deep dive yet but I have seen schematics and electrical troubleshooting methods. It has a section on installing procedures for GM accessories. I found a section on installing the crank and the bearing specs. I did a simple search for removing the motor and cam shaft removal and did not find anything so I don't think it's as detailed as the manual service techs have access.

That's a good summary and most appreciated. I would really like to have cam removal and replacement. I know there are lots of Youtubes but I would really like to see the factory documentation. Thanks again.

As a became a professional mechanic i went from alldata to Mitchell on demand to identifix. I would probably lose my mind if i tried to use a physical book repair manual lol.

Believe it or not, a lot of us "old time dudes" (50+) actually like having a printed manual... Much easier to deal with (and you can add notes, if needed...)

Im 43 so I'm not far off. I just do things differently. I'm more into the electrical side of things so printing off electrical diagrams and making notes on those per vehicle is necessary for me.
When i swapped an LS1 pcm into my LT1 trans am, i just printed both pcm diagrams and laid them side by side, made all the notes for each pin order and then started pinning the new connector.
I dont know if they still do it with book diagrams but older ones that made really long pages to keep the diagrams on one page was nice.

Does it give you a QR code or link to the online portion at least? In other words you don’t have to pay again?

Yes. You have to create an account with the same email address that you used to purchase the manual.
