Update on my theft deterrent strategy. There are a lot of great tools available, and I know some use 6-8 layers, but for me I wanted a compromise that reduces the time and hassle to park and start my car. I am using 4 layers of defense

1. I have a very easy to use steering wheel lock that loops through the steering wheel and locks into the seat belt receptacle. Easy to install and remove. Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Steering-Secu...Y2hfYXRm&psc=1

2. Mobilistics starter relay. Works great. I bought an extra remote for the second set of key's. I also took pics of the OEM relay, and printed images on some bumper sticker paper and I mocked up the Mobilistics unit to look OEM. That way if the thief even thinks to check under that hood, it should pass as stock. First pic is the sticker on the mobilistics relay. That sticks out like a sore thumb. Next two are the restickered relay

3. LoJack

4. I tossed an airtag in my glovebox to make it easy for thieves to find. I want them to think they disabled all the tracking devices.

This should slow them down, and if they defeat all the mechanical barriers, LoJack is tracking the car.

It’s really pretty simple. Take a higher res picture, download it to your computer, open the file and print on your regular printer. All you need is some bumper sticker paper, which every office supply store sells for cheap.

So. It’s as easy as. Attaching the combobulater to the supercalafragialisticispyaladoches Then down load it to the floppy disk and print? That is easy!

Sorry I'm in my 60's

I threw in an airtag (well..Samsung version) the day after I bought the car years ago. Once these spikes in 6th gen thefts got started I threw on the mobilistics kit. For $100 I was really debating it or not but glad I did the crappy part is it can't count how many times I've tried starting my car abd it won't cause I didn't click the fob first

When you push the start before you click the mobilistic FOB and it doesn’t start It should start when you the click the mobilistic fob. At least mine does if it’s done right away
