But, if you do, wanna buy a set of FS wheels? I'm pretty sure they'd look great on your car!
I may already have a pair of apex fronts here :p

We shall see honestly. I love how the car drives right now.

FS, CAM or ESP would be my recommendation. Try to start with cars more similar for track and weather parody.

ESP a bit of an unknown now with the Civic Type R seeming to do pretty well.

Best regards,
Dave

IMO sus wheels and tires are enough to be very competitive in a 6th Gen. If you took your own times from nats in fs and subtract 2-3s you'd be right up there. You're not beating @SCCAForums without a lot of cash but otherwise I think you have a good shot.

Personally, I find satisfaction in doing some mods and tweaks and then seeing that the car goes faster as a result. Next up is aero. I found a base Camaro trunk lid with no holes at a junkyard for $250 I can ruin by drilling holes for a wing, and can DIY a decent QR splitter for <$1k using Professional Awesome splitter parts and marine ply. Not sure I'd do this for ax but I need it for track. My current spoiler/wicker setup works but adds massive drag and I only have stock LT1 power. Costs me around 4-5 mph on a long straight and 3 mpg highway, lol.
