Lost Rear Spoiler Trim - 2023 2SS 1 LE

I got home from work and found my driver side black trim for the rear spoiler came off on the highway. I am looking for the one trim part. Looks like Chevy only sells the entire spoiler.

Any thoughts, resources or perhaps someone has a part laying around I could purchase?

I lost one of mine and I looked online everywhere, never went in to a dealer though and tried to order the winglet piece.

They aren't sold separately and are very rare. Try ebay. Otherwise you'll need to order a whole new spoiler. There are cheaper aftermarket versions to replace the whole thing that look close but are not exactly the same.

Check car-part.com
I just looked, and they showed a couple of NIB parts that look right. You're searching for Spoiler, rear and specify the SS 1LE option.

That shouldn't happen.

Car's still under warranty, so why wouldn't you just make this GM's problem to solve?

Because in thats not how the real world works. Take it in and the dealer will say something hit it and knocked it off. Then refer you to your car insurance claims number.

Shrug, whatever. Worth a shot at least, all they can say is no. Or if a decent dealership, maybe actually cover it.

What works the most is calling GM corporate. Ive seen so many customers get so much free stuff from doing that. The customer is usually in the wrong but a couple hundred dollars that will make them shut up is a win in their eyes i guess.

Op, fwiw the end spoiler pieces are dealer installed so selling dealer ( assume car bought new) did a poor job. Based on your image looks like they were held in place some type of 3m tape. Check the other one in place as it may fly off one day. I had the opposite problem trying to remove the end pieces switching to to Drake. Damn dealer applied with a large gob of windshield adhesive. I think install process method is at the whim of the dealership accessory installer. Good luck.

The caps have 3M double sided tape on them for install but the instructions also call for an adhesive. It can be easy to not get them on just right, which may reduce the contact of the double sided tape. I told my dealer I would install them and I intitially did not get the passenger side one on correctly. I was able to pull it off after a few months and successfully redo.
