Enclosed cai options?

I know, everyone wants rotofab, I have one myself, but now I lowered my hood scoop and it no longer closes to the hoods rain diverter. So now that the car has been out forever, has there been any good enclosed intakes? Atm can only find afe, and cold air inductions, but idk if they sell it anymore, its not on their website unless you get the thousand dollar elite one. I emailed vavaram but havent heard back yet. Orr is the stock box with green filter, still the way to go?

I tried to mod my airbox and broke it, smh. On that note, anyone have any ideas with a good enclosed intakes? Or have a cheap factory box they dont need? I just bought a green drop in filter thats unusable now

Think that would work? Im seeing $150 for stock airboxes, at that point, should I just pick up the afe. Or should I ditch the whole bracket that lowers my scoop and keep the rotofab. Im lowering the scoop to lower my iat's, but now it's sucking in hot air defeating the purpose. What do you guys think I should do?

I've got a stock one. Let me know what you're looking to pay, I was aiming for $125 plus shipping for the box and elbow.

I really only need a lid, so I cant justify that price, ty though!
It doesn't seem like anyone has any opinions on the closed intakes. I may just revert the hood back to stock and sell my brackets, sell the green filter, and just keep the rotofab. Its too hard to get the oem cheap due to shipping.

Im hearing the jlt car seals to the hood and not the rain gaurd. Update, talked to jlt, it does use the rain gaurd to seal. Ughh so what should i do, buy another stock airbox for $150, or put hood back to stock, keep rotofab and sell my brackets?

I think the factory intake is pretty well engineered. If it would hook up to a 103mm TB I probably would never consider changing it out. If any of the other open box types actually seal to the hood properly, I would imagine they work just as well.

I'll be upgrading to the new version JLT when I decide to pop on my Katech 103.

ETA: Just got a shipping notice from Summit and I should have my JLT tomorrow.

I have a rotofab and the hood bracket from GMS. Mine does not seal anymore either, but I’m on E, so I don’t think the sealing is as important, because E should compensate for any increase in IAT.

Oem factory intakes are going for $146 brand new just a heads up to anyone that cares. Im looking for a lid to factory airbox, hmu! These brackets were a terrible idea with the rotofab! Literally can't run any intakes that aren't closed!
