Yesterday I was supposed to go for a drive in my 1LE with someone who has an N. Came across a situation where I couldn’t drive my 1LE yesterday so we just took his N. I can’t believe I’m saying this but I was more excited to drive the N than I was to drive my car. Probably because the N has a lower limit and it’s fun driving a “slow car fast” versus driving a “fast car slow”. Never in my life did I think I’d enjoy driving a fwd car. I HATE FWD but that car is just so much damn fun.

Haha, yeah... it's my 1st fwd car so I know what you mean. Camaro is fun to drive in a different way, effortless acceleration and super-high limits... EN isn't nearly as fast but 400 lbs lighter and has great steering and sus feel, the 8sp DCT is awesome and makes a lot of sense for a 2L turbo motor. It has a torque-vectoring ediff. It gets mid to high 30s highway. Unlike my BMW, you can setup 2 customized driving modes. Slightly smaller than the Camaro with double the interior space. Makes for a good dd, but I'll probably take it to an autox and maybe a track day next year to figure out it's limits.

I actually ended up with the Performance Blue color, the other one had some damage from offloading it from the transport truck.

Unfortunately the used market has gone cold so I may get a good bit less for my BMW than I hoped for. If it doesn't sell on C&B my parents need a new car, might just give it to them to drive for a bit. I'm thinking interest rates may drop and if there are tariffs, it'll make new cars a lot more expensive than they already are which will boost used prices.

Performance blue looks awesome. That’s also the color my friend has. Only difference is his is a manual. It’s a fun manual for sure. I know the DCT has quite a bit of difference in acceleration but we are both happy he got a manual. We are looking forward to his first track day in it. From what I understand these cars don’t need much to be track ready (fluid and maybe pads).

While I agree the used car prices are way down, November and December are typically the worst months to sell a car. January sucks as well. This is usually when I make my car purchases.

Recently picked up a pretty clean 2019 Express Van to replace my '02 Sierra that is mired in work (trans slips, rear binds, front suspension needs done, water pump & belts & rad, windshield & possible body work under it, passenger seat, valve cover seals, wheel bearings, e-brake cables, etc).

Lovin' it, and the "free candy" and "this guy could steal your girlfriend" jokes never stop. Hoping to make it a mobile man cave project and to pull the Z if I decide to take it to the track.

I'll refrain from these jokes then, it isn't that much fun over the internet anyway, but be sure you'll hear some next time we meet
What kind of mpgs do you see with the new van?

WAAYYYY worse than the Z. LOL. I'm trying to work from home a couple/few days a week these days so should save a little $ regardless.

Plan is to do a 3" Weldtec spindle lift, some 17's/34" BFG's, maybe a bull bar and a mild man-cave build inside. If I had any budget it'd be a full 4x4 conversion but got too much else going on.

I see that the 2017 SS is a Camaro Fifty. If you haven't already you should take a stroll through the "Club Fifty" thread. It's only a 1,098 pages.
