Unless you are doing regular oil sampling, then it's all hypothetical. I run 15W-50 year around now and change after 4-5 track days. Great looking oil sample results. Make sure the oil is up to 160 F or hotter before you hammer on it.

PG14 out of the high performance supplement 2024. LT1 and LT4 can use 0w-40 dexosR on street and track combo. I put that in mine before autocross. Car did well. Drove it home still in one piece, I kept an eye on my oil temps after each lap and everything was running same as normal daily driving, 1+/- dash above 95C.
