ZL1 - 2nd round of mods?

Posting for a buddy of mine who has a 2022 ZL1 1LE and is looking to start his next round of mods soon, and his shop has recommended he go for meth setup next.

Just looking to get the communities opinion on his current build, and recommendations as to what would offer him the best “bang for his buck” in terms of cost + performance gains. From all the reading/research I’ve done, I was thinking a E85 setup (E60?) would be better?

Current build: 684whp
BTR stage 2 cam
Kooks 1 ⅞” headers + high flow cats
RotoFab big gulp CAI
Larger Lower pulley (pretty sure 10”)
Stock upper pulley
Stock exhaust from cats back

Unrelated rant
I’m still very green but learning a lot, and really enjoying it! I very quickly learned there is a lot of bad advice out there, and a lot of people who really don’t know wtf they’re about when it comes to upgrades. The Camaro6 forums have very quickly shown to be a “honey pot” of information with a good amount of people who actually know what they’re talking about. Just wanted to give a big shout out to Joshinator99 & KingLT1 for allowing me to ask all of my dumb questions, and give me advice on my own build, as I dive down the rabbit hole of needing more & more lol.

Your buddy should get his blower ported and add a bigger throttle body. Then E50+ fueling would really wake his car up.

Haha you guys are freaking awesome, appreciate the knowledge!

Just started talking with SOCAL.M6 about some of his upgrade kits/packages.

Side note/cry baby comment:
Just ordered a wideband setup for my SS. Why in the world are some of these guys charging $150+ for a single plastic vent mount? I know nothing in the world of car parts/mods is cheap, and I’m all about supporting American made stuff, but some of those prices just seem way overpriced. The ZPP a-pillar mount is like triple the amount of materials, and only $80. But only comes as a dual gauge layout. Almost just added a boost gauge to be able to fill the empty pod lol. But I guess if I don’t like the price, I don’t have to buy it right? Settled with the Aero Force Technologies one for $140 after shipping, as that was one of the cheaper options of the single vent pods.

RE: the ZPP mount - I can't think of a single criticism of mine. Not one, from aesthetics to mechanically. It is great and I could not be more pleased.

JMHO.

Yep, the ZZP is awesome. I had the aeroforce on my last car and the banks on my current car and I like the banks better.

Yea the ZPP seems to be the favorite for sure.

I currently only need/have the aem for wideband but I do like everything the banks gauge offers. Maybe later on I’ll add it, and then have a need for 2 gauges so I can get the ZPP. I am interested in learning about data logging, and understanding all the info but I’ve decided to wait on diving into that, as I want to make sure I fully understand all of the engine components first.

Just thought of this. Do they make plugs for the empty pods in the ZPP pillar? I can 3D print one, but mainly only print PLA and that would end up melting.

Yep, they sure do! Search for "52mm gauge blank" and you'll find lots of options for less than $10.
