LT1 aftermarket boost and AFR gauges?

Hi folks, I have a stock 2SS Fifty, and in a couple of days I am picking up a new to me SS 1LE with a Maggie as well as a few other mods.

I don’t think he added gauges, so I would like to add a couple. I see a lot of you use Banks, is that my best bet, and what, if any, extra sensors do I need to add? Any thoughts are appreciated, thanks!

I love the Banks gauges. Very customizable. I installed mine in the pillar pod from ZZPerformance.

Banks is great if you want to monitor multiple PIDS. If you just want Boost/Vac and Wideband, I recommend AEM for a Wideband. Get the one that allows you to passthrough Wideband datalogging. Your choice for a Boost/Vac.

Once you go down the Banks path, it's tough to live without seeing everything. Borderline obsessive. As far as monitoring wideband through Banks only, I don't know anything about that.

I’m also looking to add boost & AFR/wideband gauges very soon.

I’m going with the AEM for the wideband but a little unsure which one I need.

Does anyone know specifically which AEM gauge you need for the ability to get remote tunes using HPtuners. I’m thinking it’s the one that plugs into your OBDII and allows pass through data logging like GreyGhost702 previously mentioned?

Edit: After looking online more, I answered my own question. HPtuners even sells the gauge setup on their website. (Link to it) it’s even cheaper on their site, than Amazon currently.

Yep, that’s the correct one. It will report the AFR reading over the canbus network so when you datalog with HP Tuners, the AFR will be read at the same time as everything else. Very handy for tuning.

Hell yeah.... they look great when installed!
I keep both the iDash and ZZP in stock.

The one button data logging is awesome also.

Banks also has other sensors that can integrate into the iDash gauges.

Don't have a boost gauge cuz NA.

But here's my AFR Wideband, and no my gauge doesn't allow me to switch to true lamda values far as I know.

And don't ask me why my phone won't see the digital display, but it is clearly visible without the phone camera.
