Congratulations!

Agreed...probably one of the best wheels I've seen.

Make sure the first thing you do is service it for the A8 Trans shudder. Eliminate the problem now before it becomes a problem later. Unless it's an M6 in which case forget what I just said.

Haha, it is indeed an M6. I do want to add the shift skip eliminator and I believe the previous owner already disabled the AFM. From what I can tell it has not kicked on and I drove it home 2.5 hrs from the dealership cruising over the passes.

I don't believe the M6 has AFM (it has the same AFM Lifters but the functionality is not active)

That is correct, the M6 does not have AFM activated from the factory.

Congrats, and welcome to the club!

Skip shift eliminator is the best first mod ever lol.

I second this! Skip Shift Eliminator absolutely should be the first go to mod for any M6.

I've had two manual 2016 SS's, and I can drive it all day and not have the skip shift kick in. Now, if you daily, and really try to baby first gear or something, I get it. When I got my first SS, I figured skip shift eliminator would be first mod, but 2 cars in now and I just haven't needed it.

I rarely get it as well. In fact, I forget it's even a feature until the rare occasion it does kick in.

Installed the bmr lockout kit and did a few launches. Rear feels much better, excited to see what she does at the drag strip next week.

It's completely avoidable, but it's still a pain in the ass. I don't want to alter my shifting habits for the stupid thing. I can't wait to have mine installed.

Customer rolled up with a '69 today. I thought it looked awesome, so I asked to take a picture with it. I got mine out of the garage* and took the opportunity for a "New & Old" shot.
(*She gets rockstar parking at work for a while )
