What do you guys use to dry glass?

I use to use newspaper. Worked great. Who has newspaper anymore? I had a chamois but it wore out. Microfiber streak. Got a better suggestion?

I've actually had the best luck using microfiber. The Rag Co. microfiber towels on Amazon are good. If you need Walmart, get the more expensive ones. Weave towels are supposed to be the best for glass, but I don't think they're any better than a good microfiber. Stoner glass cleaner is widely available including Walmart and will probably give the best results (many detailers use it - it performs as well as many products that are much more expensive). You might have to wipe several times to get rid of streaks, or use one towel with cleaner, and then a clean dry towel.

You need to use a waffle weave towel with glass cleaner. Waffle weave used only on glass (and washed beforehand with microfiber wash) will do it, no streaks, clear windshield, no lint

Waffle weave works great on glass... after a pooling rinse & leaf-blower dry.

I use 100% cotton cloth cut from bed sheets. You still have to wipe when the glass is cool to avoid streaks, but that’s a universal problem, not dependent on the type of wiping material.

It is all in the order that you clean. First, spray and let soak, wipe off bugs and dirt, spray again and wipe with clean towel, now use dry towel before streaks appear. Gotta be quick in hot weather or direct sun. And I clean this windshield many times a day.

I've tried almost everything under the sun, the only thing that kind of works is brand new waffle weave towels. Even those aren't perfect, my glass is never as clean as the paint. Somewhat surprisingly, the cheapest Sprayway cleaner from Walmart has worked the best for me, all the expensive glass cleaners I tried left something behind, streaks or dirty spots. There is one more I haven't yet tried (Amsoil).

Haven't given up yet, though, one day I'll find the perfect product and towel. Or, as some might be tempted to taunt, I'll finally learn how to clean glass

I use The Rag Company Glass cleaning towels with Invisible Glass. Zero complaints and it works very well on the glass.

I have the best luck with The Rag Company Edgeless 365 Microfiber Towels. I've tried the waffle weave towels, good quality towels, but I keep coming back to these.

Are you using the 280 or 350 gsm ones?

Like Arpad, my waffle weave glass towel seems to do the trick only when new - interested in trying these out as I am an Invisible Glass fan as well!
