NPP
So. Admit an old topic but I want to make sure I don’t f nothing up 😂
Have a 2018 SS with borla which sounds mint. Just picked up a 2021 zl1 with NPP but want to get used to the car before I decide what to do to it but it does need to sound as good as it can. What can I do? Set it to tour ? Should I pull the fuse for the valves? I want it loud and don’t care about neighbors but don’t want to f up the car with back pressure or anything? Advice while I get used to the car and decide what I want to do to it my friends? Thanks. |

You can pull fuse 51 in the engine bay fuse block to keep the valves open 100% of the time. Back pressure issues are a myth (stealth mode is known to cause rear bumper/diffuser trouble on the track, but you're going in the opposite direction).

As long as you don't run chambered flowmasters, back pressure shouldn't be an issue. Your choice on flavor of sound.
