Drag Radial - ZL1/1LE

What’s a good drag radial that will fit on the stock 19” rear wheels of the ZLE? How much benefit will it be over the GYSC3R? Car went 11.59 on the stock rubber. Wondering if a drag radial will improve 60’ enough to make it worth it.

Nitto NT555R2 has a 345/30/19 available:

Last night at Gateway in St. Louis, I also managed a best of 11.59. My 60' times were all over 1.9 seconds. The SC3R's were mostly heat cycled out though and I was just curious what I could do on them.

I had Toyo R888R's on it before and managed a best of 1.69 60'. Average was about 1.75.

I removed my bias slicks from my 17" Welds as I didn't feel it a good idea to drive 2-1/2 hours each way to the drag strip.

So, on a ZLE will the 345 NT555Rii fit without rubbing the quarter panel since they're 27.2" vs 26.7" (taller) but tread width is about the same at 12.2"?

I know the M/T ET Street S/S 315/35 on a 17" is a good fit, a little smaller diameter though, 25.9" vs 26.7" (will it look goofy)?

315/35 is too short. Most guys run ET Street R 305/45/17 when running 17” drag wheels.
