I wound up following my car for the first time when my son took my 2017 2LT RS Convertible for a birthday date with his girlfriend. And before anyone asks, we both left at the same time... there was no stalking lol

Anyway, I noticed the 3rd brake light would flash/pulse once before it would stayed solid whenever he was braking. It was just the 3rd brake light. I called my son and ask if he was tapping the brake and he said he wasn't.

It was consistent every time he used the brakes.

I had installed brake flasher modules on my motorcycles but they would pulse 3-5 times before becoming solid (or stay flashing - depending on how it was wired). Never saw one where it just flashed once but I actually like it flashing once.

Before I tear into the wiring to look for an aftermarket module, curious if anyone else's car do that?
