New Wheels/Tires and Suspension parts.
Car made 772 whp on 93 pump, tuner put some E in and we are now 836whp on E40. To say the stock Goodyears are holding on for dear life is an understatement. Also felt like the car was trying to rear steer with the stock rubber parts.
Add a few new parts: BMR cradle and diff lockout. BMR adjustable upper/lower trailing arms, upper control arm and toe rods Weld Laguna 17x10 rears and 18x5 fronts with MT ET Street R 305/45r17 First side took about 4 hours to get everything apart, press out the stock bushings and replace with the spherical bearings. other side took about 2 hours, helps once you have done it! did a little shop alignment and headed to local shop for an alignment. i was close, but they dialed it in. Also played with the upper control arm to flatten the tire out a bit. Of course I had to fire it up with no muffler installed. pretty sure I woke the dead, sound good though. |

Wheels and Tires:
Did have to move the harness on the driver side, also made some holes a bit bigger in the liner and moved it forward. well clear of the tire now. |

Overall, pretty a happy with everything, even more happy with the way the car can put the power down.
Before it was a 2.0-2.2 to the 60ft. First time to the track, down to 1.78 being pretty easy on it. Due for a little driver mode to get used to being able to put my foot in it early. 7.065 @ 107 in the 1/8 need to get down Bradenton and run the full 1/4 |
