HP Tuners License
Hello,
I bought HP Tuners for my 2018 Camaro 2.0 turbo at the beginning of the year. I've already used it. I bought four licenses. When I connect HP Tuners to the car, I get a message saying I don't have a license. I've tried the Resync interface, but nothing works. Do you have any ideas as to what the problem is?

The screenshot shows that you have purchased 4 credits for an E80A controller, but you're trying to flash an E92. I'm not sure HP Tuners will allow using credits across these... unfortunately their licensing constructs are very restrictive, for example, I wasn't able to transfer my credits from my tuner's MPVI to mine, they simply don't allow that, I had to buy them again to be able to tune my car :/
I'd try to contact their support and explain that I want to write an E92 but my credits aren't for that controller, I've never used them, and they may be able/willing to amend the license.

The weird thing is, I've used it before and it worked and now it doesn't!

Try clearing the old License file on your laptop.
Go to the HP Tuners directory, look for License, there's a license file in there. Rename it to LicenseOLD or something to that effect. Run the app, sync the devices, and then try to write. |
